Color Therapy

Color, spanning from stimulating hues to sedative tones, impacts our energy by evoking emotion and influencing how we think and act. Color therapy, or chromotherapy, has been used throughout history to promote health and wellbeing. Ancient Egyptians and Greeks were said to have had medicinal temples where sunlight shining through colored gemstones was used to stimulate healing. Modern-day science shows that that when our eyes see certain colors, our brains release chemicals that influence how we think, feel and act.

Color and Intention - Making the Connection

To bring a little mindfulness into each day, consider what you hope your day will bring. With intention, select the color(s) that best represent your desired emotion or effect. Each time you see or feel it, your Touchstone will serve to remind you of that intention. Bold? Kind? Courageous? Powerful? Calming? Joyful?

Wearing bright colors has also shown to positively influence the mood and feelings of others around you.
